Dr. Sameer, Professor, Electronics and Communication Engineering Department at NITC, has been elected as the IEEE Region-10 Director-Elect for the term 2025-26. IEEE Region-10, which covers Asia and the Pacific, is the largest of IEEE's 10 global regions, representing a diverse community that includes countries such as Australia, New Zealand, India, China and Japan. Dr. Sameer will also be the IEEE Region 10 Director during the calendar years 2027 and 2028.
