Teacher's Enrichment Workshop at NITC
The Department of Mathematics, NIT Calicut & IIITDM Kancheepuram conducted a Teacher's Enrichment Workshop on Probability and Number Theory from 29th January 2024 to 3rd February 2024. The programme featured 5 speakers and witnessed an enthusiastic participation of over 35 persons including faculty members and research scholars.
The workshop was inaugurated by Prof. V Sajith, Chairperson of CCESD NIT Calicut on January 29. Dr. Sudhansu Sekhar Rout, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics and Dr. Subramani M., IIITDM Kancheepuram, coordinated the event.
The chief guest of the programme Prof. B.V Rao, Chennai Mathematical Institute, lighted the lamp. Dr. Subramani M., Organizer from IIITDM Kancheepuram, delivered introductory remarks and Dr. Mahesh Kumar, HOD of Mathematics, welcomed the participants.
The inaugural ceremony ended with a grand vote of thanks given by Dr. Sudhansu Sekhar Rout. Expert talks by Prof. B.V Rao, Prof. K. Jayakumar, Dr. Mahesh Kumar, Dr. Sudhansu Sekhar Rout, and Dr. Subramani M. enriched the knowledge of the participants. The event was supported by the National Centre for Mathematics (NCM).
