NITC Professor becomes Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry
A Kerala scientist and professor of the National Institute of Technology Calicut has been awarded as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Parameswaran Pattiyil, Professor and Head of the Department of Chemistry, NITC, has been awarded the prestigious Fellowship: "Fellow of The Royal Society of Chemistry" (FRSC) for his contributions to Chemistry.
The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) is a professional society in the United Kingdom with the goal of "advancing the chemical sciences". Fellow is the Royal Society of Chemistry’s senior membership category and is awarded to individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the chemical sciences. Dr. Parameswaran's research focuses on chemical bonding and reactivity.
FRSC is one of the highest recognitions for a chemical scientist. Prof. Parameswaran is a native of Thrissur, Kerala.
