NIT Calicut to host Young Idea Conclave
National Institute of Technology Calicut will host Young Idea Conclave to offer a platform for college students to showcase their concepts and ideas. The programme, initiated by Innovations Expedition (iVAEX) in association with Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), provides the students with an opportunity to create ideas, promote innovation and offer new opportunities.
The Calicut Edition of the event will be held at MBA Auditorium, NITC campus, on August 19. 'Innovative Idea Pitching Competition' for students and interaction with professionals are the highlights of the event.
The event is supported by the School of Management Studies and the Centre for Innovations, Entrepreneurship and Incubation of NIT Calicut. Apart from NITC, other engineering colleges in Kozhikode are also supporting the event.
District collector Smt. A Geetha will inaugurate the programme. Prof. Prasad Krishna, Director of NIT Calicut, will preside over the inaugural session. Sri. Anoop P Ambika, CEO of KSUM, will deliver the keynote address.
