NIT Calicut jointly with Bosch Global Software Technologies (BGSW) sets a new trend in IndustryAcademia Collaboration by introducing a new M.Tech Programme on Electric Vehicle Engineering for Working Professionals. It is the first fully Industry sponsored Post graduate programme on Electrical Vehicle Technology in the country. The course is designed to have both theoretical and practical expertise on EV product development. Every subject in the program will have an industry case study and a subsequent project at industry. The course has advanced subjects in vehicle system engineering, energy storage, charging systems in addition to powertrain, power electronics and electric machine. Additional focus is also given to digital engineering for electric vehicles like data science, artificial intelligence, IoT, etc.
