Programmes Organized by the Department (2023 onwards):

•  The Department of Mathematics and Centre for Indian Knowledge Systems, NIT Calicut jointly celebrated the "National Mathematics Day" on 20th December, 2024 (Friday), in honour of the birth anniversary of the Legendary Indian Mathematician Srinivas Ramanujan.
• The Department conducted International Conference on Lie Algebra and Number Theory (ICLANT-2024) during June 10-14, 2024.  The conference website link is: https://sites.google.com/view/iclant
• The Department of Mathematics, National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC) and Centre for Continuing Education and Skill Development (CCED) NITC in association with MathLab SkillRealm, Kochi organized a 5-day residential camp on "MATH CODING & AI" for school students from 27 May 2024 to 31 May 2024.  
• The Department of Mathematics, NIT Calicut and IIITDM Kancheepuram Jointly organized a Teacher's Enrichment Workshop on "Probability and Number Theory" during January 29-February 03, 2024.
• National Mathematics Day was celebrated in the department in collaboration with the Center for Indian Knowledge System (CIKS), NIT Calicut, on December 22, 2023, to mark the birth anniversary of the legendary mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan.
• Two-Days Workshop was conducted on “Number Theory & Some Applications” during December 04-05, 2023 under the Scientific Social Responsibility (SSR) Scheme - SERB (India).  
• The Department and the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) Mumbai jointly organized a training and skill development program on "Computational Studies of Differential Equations: Modeling,Theory and Simulation (CSDE: MTS)" under the DST-STUTI scheme, from July 24–30, 2023, as a part of the 2023 G20 event.  
• The department organized a workshop on "Mathematics for Artificial Intelligence (MA12023)" from 16-01-2023 to 20-01-2023.
