Centre of Excellence in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (CoELSCM) at NIT Calicut is organising the First International Conference on Logistics, Supply Chain and Transportation (ICLST 2024) from May, 22-24, 2024 at NIT Calicut, Kozhikode, Kerala.
About CoELSCM : National Institute of Technology Calicut is supporting the Logistics Human Resource Development and Capacity Building under the PM Gati Shakti Scheme, through the Centre of Excellence in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (CoELSCM). This Centre of Excellence is a multidisciplinary centre that works across various research groups such as Industrial Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Remote Sensing and Geospatial Technology, Construction Management and Cyber Security. This team focuses on new and emerging technologies with multidisciplinary and translational research relevant to achieving PM Gati Shakti's objectives of improving the supply chain's operational efficiency and minimizing logistics costs.
About ICLST 2024 : ICLST aims to bring together academicians, practitioners, managers, and policymakers from all parts of the world, to share cutting-edge research and advanced state-of-practice in logistics, supply chain and transportation. The conference, in addition to high quality technical sessions, also includes special sessions, technical tours, an exhibition and social events. In addition, there will be several keynote and invited presentations from industry and academia. ICLST has structured the topics into five broad categories to facilitate exchange of ideas between researchers and practitioners working in similar areas. These include Industrial Engineering and Management, Industry 4.0+, Remote Sensing and GIS, Sustainability, and Transportation Engineering. Special themes on Maritime Logistics, Healthcare Excellence and Medical Tourism, and Indian Knowledge Systems are also planned.
