  • Dr.Deepak Lawrence K is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Institute of Technology Calicut, India . Deepak Lawrence completed his Bachelor of Technology degree from National Institute of Technology Calicut, India. He did his Master of Technolohy (M.Tech) from IIT Madras,India.  He has completed Ph.D. in the field of Manufacturing Metrology from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India. He has total of 14 years of teaching and research experience at PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore,Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal University, and NIT Calicut. His research interests are Metrology and Computer-aided inspection, Digital Manufacturing and Industry 4.0, Digital thread/Digital twin, Additive manufacturing, Automation of Manufacturing system functions, Machine vision applications, Functional Surfaces and Tribology, and Advanced machining for materials processing.
