OVERVIEW

MBA hostel is located in scenic surroundings away from the main campus. The hostel provides a serene atmosphere and clean surroundings to the students. It is proudly to be remembered that the former President of India and holder of Bharat Ratna award, Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam laid the foundation stone of MBA hostel on 15 th October 2009. Hostel was inaugurated on 12 th March 2015 by Dr. G R C Reddy, the Director of NITC.
The MBA hostel is situated adjacent to School of Management Studies offers a calm and student friendly atmosphere. The hostel has three blocks (A, B and C).The recently renovated "C" Block was opened on 7th November 2023 by Prof. Prasad Krishna, the Director of NITC.
Total 200 student’s rooms are in A, Band C Block.72 rooms are available for students in C Block (double occupancy). The capacity of C Block is 144 students. In C block 272 nos. of two seated rooms are available.Each room contains 2 cots, 2 study tables,1 ceiling fan,4 light points and 3 plug points. Each room has LAN port and routers are being installed to provide seamless connectivity. Rooms are provided with curtains and attached with toilet/bath.

HOSTEL FACILITIES

• Drinking water: Geysers and water purifiers (hot, cool and normal water) are installed for providing safe and pure drinking water.

• Study room:A spacious study room is provided to student with study tables andchairs and LAN connection.

• Internet room: Apart from study room is also provided with computers and internet connection.

• Common room: Have a capacity to hold all students. Hostel meetings are conducted in the common room. Have LED TV facilities with cable connection. There is space for yoga practice and yoga mat is provided.

• Recreation room: Indoor sports equipment’s like TT tables, Caroms board and Chess board has been provided.

• Laundry: A laundry service centre is working in the hostel on Tuesday & Friday in a week .

• Mess hall: Hostel has a spacious dining hall where daily meals are served.

• Shuttle court: A shuttle court is provided to students with floodlight facility.

• Ambulance: Ambulance service is provided to students whenever it is necessary.

• Bus service: A bus service is provided for students from main campus to Hostel

STAFF OVERVIEW

• For managing hostel activities, a Warden and caretaker are available in the hostel from 9.00 AM to 5.30 PM in working days.

• There are two of attendants working on shift basis provides 24 hrs service to students and hostel.

• Three numbers of sanitation staffs ensures the cleanliness of hostel and its premises.

• 2 numbers of security staffs working in shift ensures 24 hour safeguarding of residents

• Electricians, Carpenters and Plumbers 2 nos. of employees from each department are deployed to solve the complaints in respective fields.
