  • Ph.D.: IITB-Monash Research Academy (Indian Institute of Technology Bombay & Monash University Melbourne), 2018

  • M.Tech: Nano Science and Technology, National Institute of Technology Calicut, 2011

  • B.Tech: Mechanical Engineering, Government Engineering College Kozhikode, University of Calicut, 2009

  • Dr. Sharu’s research interests center on the intersection of three disciplines: Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, and Civil Engineering. His research work often entails applying mechanical engineering principles in a materials science context on civil engineering materials. Dr. Sharu’s research works are targeted to utilize the designing, rheology control, and processing of concentrated cementitious suspensions to develop novel 3D printable slurries that address current limitations in three areas: extrusion-based additive manufacturing, CO2 sequestration, and energy-efficient cementation.
