Career Development & Enhancement
The Career Development and Enhancement in SOMS is to facilitate learning and skill enhancement beyond the course syllabus. The CDE encourages students to take up live projects and internships and arranges training sessions (such as resume building, social media use, group discussion, mock interviews and practice sessions for aptitude tests) aimed at students’ career building. The CDE also initiates and sustains relationships with the corporates to seek summer internships and final placements for the students. CDE works closely with the institute Centre for Career Development to ensure all students can participate in campus placement activities. A faculty coordinator and student representatives manage the CDE.
