"Classical Mechanics in Vector space formulation and an application"

We present a formulation of classical mechanics in terms of vector space and operators. We show the derivations of wave function, Hamiltonian operator and Schrödinger-like equations, explicitly for two well-known classical systems, viz; particles moving under harmonic potential and 1/r potential in 2-dimensions. We also re-derive the known equivalence between these two systems in this formulation.
